Stephen R. CoveySummer Activity

Join the BYU Emeriti Alumni Association for the annual Summer Activity Monday, June 16, at 11:30 a.m. We will meet in the Assembly Hall of the Hinckley Center on the Brigham Young University campus for a lovely luncheon followed by popular speaker and author, Mary Ellen Edmunds.

Mary Ellen Edmunds was a member of the Relief Society General Board of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and previously served as a director of training at the Missionary Training Center in Provo. She also served several full-time proselyting and welfare missions to Asia and Africa. Sister Edmunds was also former faculty in the College of Nursing (BYU). She has authored a dozen books, for example, Love Is a Verb and Peculiar In a Good Way, and is a popular speaker at BYU Education Week and Women's Conference.

MEE-MORY LANE -- MEE takes a walk

Mary Ellen Edmunds will share stories from her adventures in places like Asia and Africa. She will tell of life-changing experiences with some wonderful people in "faraway places with strange-sounding names."

Luncheon cost: $15 per person. Limited seating. Register early!
