Summer ActivityJoin the BYU Emeriti Alumni Association for the annual Summer Activity Monday, June 16, at 11:30 a.m. We will meet in the Assembly Hall of the Hinckley Center on the Brigham Young University campus for a lovely luncheon followed by popular speaker and author, Mary Ellen Edmunds.
Mary Ellen Edmunds was a member of the Relief Society General Board of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and previously served as a director of training at the Missionary Training Center in Provo. She also served several full-time proselyting and welfare missions to Asia and Africa. Sister Edmunds was also former faculty in the College of Nursing (BYU). She has authored a dozen books, for example, Love Is a Verb and Peculiar In a Good Way, and is a popular speaker at BYU Education Week and Women's Conference.
MEE-MORY LANE -- MEE takes a walk
Mary Ellen Edmunds will share stories from her adventures in places like Asia and Africa. She will tell of life-changing experiences with some wonderful people in "faraway places with strange-sounding names."

The purpose of the Brigham Young University Emeriti Alumni Association is to promote friendship and fellowship among its members and support activities that will further the interests of the university, as well as benefit emeriti educationally, physically, and spiritually. Membership in the Emeriti Alumni Association includes graduates of 40 years or more and retired faculty, administration, and employees of the university. We welcome all friends of the university.
