Maple Mustard BBQ Pork Chops
Serves 8
Ingredients:
Maple Syrup ½ Cup
Dijon Mustard ¼ Cup
Apple Juice ¼ Cup
Red Onion, small diced 1 small
Allspice ½ teaspoon
Cumin, ground 1 teaspoon
Boneless Pork chops 8 each
Extra Virgin Olive Oil as needed for drizzling
Salt & Pepper as needed
3 apples sliced ½ thick
Procedure:
Preheat grill to medium high heat, combine syrup, mustard, apple juice, Onion,
allspice, & cumin in a sauce pan and heat until mixture starts to thicken.
Meanwhile, coat chops with oil and season with salt and pepper. Place on grill
seasoned side down, grill chops for 3-4 minutes on one side making sure to season
the opposite side. Flip chops and baste with reduced sauce, cook for 3 minutes
more. Place pork chops in the oven to allow them stay warm, drizzle apple slices
in oil and grill a few minutes on each side, be sure not to over cook the apple
slices. They should be tender but not mushy. Serve chops with apples on the
side and drizzle with remaining sauc
