BYU Alumni Chapters offer services and activities to keep alumni active in the life of the university today and to connect you with your wealth of experiences from your time at BYU. There are Regional Chapters (based on where you live), College Chapters (aligned with your degree, college, or department at BYU) and Professional Chapters (associated with a group, industry, society or affiliation of grads). All Chapters have one purpose - to be True Blue.
They connect alumni with students (mentoring, internships, employment opportunities, replenishment grants).
They connect alumni with each other (networking, career and professional development, social activites).
They enlarge the Spirit of the Y (community recognition, service projects, newsletters).

BYU Freshman Send Off 2019
Omaha Institute of Religion Building

We will be providing dinner to the newly accepted BYU students. We will also have a panel with students who have just returned from being at BYU. We will also play some games to help the students get to know all of the other students from this area who have been accepted to BYU.

Join us for our 2nd annual Omaha Chapter BYU Alumni Family Fun Picnic. We have reserved Zorinsky Lake - Pavillion #1 & #2 for this event. Our Sponsors are providing a hot dog lunch, chips, fruit and drinks free for the families who come. If desired, you can donate money towards the Omaha Chapter Replenishment grant to show your appreciation. This event will be lots of fun. There is a playground near the Pavillion for the young kids. We will have face painting, yard games, as well as BYU swag give aways. You can bike or hike the trails around Zorinsky Lake. Come join us for a afternoon of fun and get that cougar spirit roaring. We will want to get a count of those coming so that we have enough food for all. The link will be up summer 2019 for this. If you would like to help sponsor this event - please contact Ken Blad by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
