BYU Alumni Chapters offer services and activities to keep alumni active in the life of the university today and to connect you with your wealth of experiences from your time at BYU. There are Regional Chapters (based on where you live), College Chapters (aligned with your degree, college, or department at BYU) and Professional Chapters (associated with a group, industry, society or affiliation of grads). All Chapters have one purpose - to be True Blue.
They connect alumni with students (mentoring, internships, employment opportunities, replenishment grants).
They connect alumni with each other (networking, career and professional development, social activites).
They enlarge the Spirit of the Y (community recognition, service projects, newsletters).

This is a party to celebrate BYU's newly admitted freshmen from the Nashville area! All new freshman, their families, alumni, and current high school students interested in attending BYU are welcome to attend. We'll serve pizza at 6:00 and have a panel of current BYU students beginning at 6:30pm to discuss life on campus, what classes to take, how to deal with roommates, where to live, how to get involved, and anything else you want to know about life as a BYU undergrad! We'll also have some cool prizes and giveaways!

"When saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?" (Matthew 25:37) Join us for BYU Family Night at Second Harvest Food Bank on Thursday, August 16, from 5:30-8:00pm! This is an AMAZING opportunity for us to work together The Nashville Chapter of the BYU Alumni Association has committed to provide 40 volunteers (adults and children ages 6+) to help with projects at Second Harvest to provide meals to our hungry neighbors. PLEASE NOTE THAT PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED AND PARTICIPATION IS LIMITED TO ONLY 40 TOTAL VOLUNTEERS! To ensure you have a spot, please notify Seth Killingbeck (email@example.com) if you, your family, and/or your friends would like to participate. Seth can walk you through the online registration process (which is required for all adults--plus Youth Volunteer Applications and waivers are required for all minors). Even if you register online, please still contact Seth so he can add you to the list--participation is capped at 40 volunteers. We will be packing backpacks of weekend food that are distributed through schools to children at risk of hunger, bagging bulk produce into family-sized portions, assembling monthly food boxes for senior citizens struggling with food insecurity, and/or packing meal bags for community centers/schools/and other agencies that feed hungry kids and adults. PLEASE WEAR CLOSED-TOED SHOES AND BYU SHIRTS TO THIS EVENT!!!
