Go the Distance with Homecoming 2008

BYU Homecoming 2008 will celebrate the theme "Go the Distance" and will run from Tuesday, Oct. 7, through Saturday, Oct. 11. Highlights of the festivities will include the opening ceremony, featuring the Cougar Marching Band and the winner of the Brimhall essay contest; two nights of Homecoming Spectacular, spotlighting premier BYU performance groups; and the parade, highlighting Janet Lee Chamberlain (BS '60), widow of Homecoming founder Rex E. Lee, as grand marshal.

A Leader Who Went the Distance

BYU will draw attention to the legacy of Rex E. Lee--founding dean of the J. Reuben Clark Law School, a nationally respected attorney and former president of BYU - when it honors him as the Founder during Homecoming 2008.
