The BYU Student Alumni Association (SAA) was organized in 1983 to
coordinate various activities on BYU's campus that would strengthen its
parent group, the BYU Alumni Association, in future years. The SAA has
changed shape many times over its nearly twenty-five year history, but
has never lost its central purpose to help produce responsible alumni.
Over the years, the association has become known for its
professionally-centered programming and focus on connecting students
and successful alumni. The SAA has won more than 25 national and
regional awards and has contributed to raising more than $200,000 for
the university.
