Salt Lake Evening with Friends

Join us for an Evening with Friends with guest speakers Jerold and JoAnn Ottley. Admission is free. Seating is very limited. Click here to register. Deadline to register is May 10 at 5 p.m. Tickets will not be distributed. Check in will be held at the event.

Jerold and JoAnn Ottley have shared music as an adult lifetime pursuit. Together they pursued education at Brigham Young University, the University of Utah, as Fulbright students at the music conservatory in Cologne, West Germany, and at the University of Oregon.

Jerry was a professor and administrator at the University of Utah before his call as conductor of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. For 25 years, his assignments with the Choir included recordings, concerts, national and international tours.

JoAnn has been a professional soloist with orchestras and conductors in many parts of the U.S. and abroad, taught voice at the University of Utah for 10 years, and was vocal coach of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for 24 years.

Driving Directions: If you are coming from either the north or the south, exit from I-15 onto the 6th North ramp (Exit 309). Drive east to 400 West. Turn south and drive five blocks to North Temple. Cross North Temple and look for the parking gate on the east side of the street.

If you are coming from the west on I-80, take the North Temple off-ramp (at mile marker 115) and drive east on North Temple to 400 West. Turn South and look for the parking gate on the east side of the road.

If you are coming from the east on I-80, merge north onto I-15 and follow the directions above. If you are following city streets, find either North or South Temple and drive west to 400 West. The parking gate is between North and South Temple on 400 West.

Parking:
Enter the parking terrace (student parking) from 400 West. Park close to level four and enter the Center on the south side at ground level to reach the auditorium.
