Valley United Against Hunger
November 12 - November 30
 |
For over 15 years, BYU has helped sponsor the largest food drive in Utah County. This year, BYU has teamed up with UVU and Community Action Services and Food Bank to gather food for those living in poverty in the area. This year, BYU raised $35,322.50 and 263,706 lbs of food!
From Nov. 12-30, drop off non-perishable food in bins across campus and select Provo locations. You can also donate money at the BYU Bookstore, BYU Cougareat, BYU Creameries and local businesses.
Online donations may be made here. Proceeds go to Community Action Services and Food Bank, who can utilize their leveraging power to translate every dollar donated into 17 pounds of food.
We ask for your contribution on behalf of our alma mater, but more importantly, we ask you to give to the needy in our community during this holiday season by donating to the BYU/UVU Food Drive. |
