Things to do in February-

• If your student is planning to attend spring or summer terms, please remind your student that registration begins February 1. Again, this is a great time to visit their advisement center for help with registration.


• If your student is interested in applying for a continuing student scholarship for next fall or winter semester, the deadline is April 15. Have your student apply now.


• If your student is having problems academically, now is the time to do something about it. Encourage your student to visit the Academic Support Office for assistance, to meet with their professors, or if necessary, to drop the class. The last day to drop classes for academic reasons is February 11.


• Valentine's Day is February 14- send your student a valentine!


• Continue to communicate the importance of balancing work, studies, and social obligations. If procrastination or stress is a problem, encourage your student to visit the Counseling and Career Center, 2500 WSC, for help.
