REIMAN GARDENS

Kick off game day surrounded by beauty at the BYU Alumni Tailgate Party, hosted at the stunning Reiman Gardens — just south of Jack Trice Stadium. You’ll have full access to all 17 acres of lush gardens, with 26 unique garden areas, wide-open fields for lawn games, cozy heated indoor spaces for meals, and even the world’s largest concrete gnome!

Normally, garden admission is $12 for adults — but it’s all included with your tailgate ticket. This event is hosted by BYU Alumni and welcomes both Cougar and Cyclone fans. As you stroll the gardens, see if you can find the special section cared for by local missionaries!

LET'S GIVE BACK!

Let's show Iowa that CougsCARE by giving back to the community. On July 31, 1856, Des Moines resident and businessman Charles Good gave 15 new pairs of shoes to children of the Willie Handcart Company as they passed through Des Moines. We’d like to pay forward the kindness Mr. Good showed.

We are partnering with the Iowa Chapter of US Committee for Refugees and the Ames School district to serve today’s children and refugees in Iowa. Cash donations will be used to purchase new shoes, coats, and blankets. We will also welcome donations of gently used shoes, coats, or home blankets at the tailgate.
