Let's cheer on BYU and show Texas that COUGS CARE by giving back to the community! We are partnering with TTU Alumni and Literacy Lubbock, a nonprofit supporting early childhood and family literacy as well as adult education programs and ESL education.

Bring new or gently used books to the tailgate or make cash donations. Or, shop the LITERACY LUBBOCK AMAZON WISH LIST.

Donations will receive a special BYU 150 thank you gift!
FAQ's

  • Tickets are non-refundable. However, tickets may be transferred to another individual.

  • Kickoff is at 11 a.m. The tailgate will run from 8 to 10 a.m., giving fans ample time to get to the stadium.

  • Since it is a morning game, we will enjoy a Texas-style breakfast burrito bar provided by Texas Tech’s “Top Tier Catering.”

  • Tickets can be found at: https://texastech.com/game-center/21242

    The assigned BYU sections are 110 and 111, but of course you may purchase them for wherever you would like.

  • Yes, you can order extra shirts when you purchase a tailgate ticket on this site. All shirts must be picked up at the tailgate. There will be a couple extra shirts to purchase at the tailgate, but sizes are not guaranteed.

  • All proceeds from tickets sales will be used for scholarships for local students attending BYU! By purchasing a tailgate ticket, you're helping fund a student's education!

  • We are gathering together to support Literacy Lubbock. They are a non-profit organization that does everything from toddler library storytimes to adult ESL and GED courses! They hold book fairs where members of the community can come and pick a book to bring home.

    There are three ways you can contribute:

    1. Bring any new or lightly used book - it can be a board book, picture book or chapter book and can be fiction or nonfiction. These books will be collected and distributed at their community events.

    2. Shop the Literacy Lubbock Amazon wishlist. Books purchased through their wishlist can be sent directly to Literacy Lubbock's office!

    3. Donate to their Venmo account! Monetary contributions will help them provide their ESL and GED programs and support adult education.
