Toggle ItemWhat is the service project about? What do I bring to help?
We are gathering together to support Literacy Lubbock. They are a non-profit organization that does everything from toddler library storytimes to adult ESL and GED courses! They hold book fairs where members of the community can come and pick a book to bring home.
There are three ways you can contribute:
1. Bring any new or lightly used book - it can be a board book, picture book or chapter book and can be fiction or nonfiction. These books will be collected and distributed at their community events.
2. Shop the Literacy Lubbock Amazon wishlist. Books purchased through their wishlist can be sent directly to Literacy Lubbock's office!
3. Donate to their Venmo account! Monetary contributions will help them provide their ESL and GED programs and support adult education.
This is a truly fantastic way to help serve our community!
