BYU License Plates
Are you True Blue?
Show your Y Pride on your ride (and help out a current BYU student) with the exclusive stretch Y license plate - available at any local Utah DMV. Stretch Y license plates are available for any vehicle owner registering a vehicle in Utah.
The first year you order a Y plate, you will be asked to make a $35 tax-deductible contribution and a one-time $17 specialty plate fee. Through this donation, you not only show your connection to Cougar Nation, but you're also helping deserving students receive needed financial aid.
In following years, your minimum $35 donation will continue supporting BYU students in need. All other vehicle vehicle registration and renewal fees are separate from this donation.
For more information on how to get your Y plate, see below.
