BYU vs ARKANSAS

Get ready to cheer on the Cougars as they take on the Arkansas Razorbacks!

BYU vs ARKANSAS Tailgate & Game

Date: Saturday, September 16, 2023

Tailgate Time: 3-5 p.m.

Kickoff: 6:30 p.m.


Location: Wilson Park, 675 N Park Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701

Get ready for a fun time and remember to bring canned goods for the food drive! This is going to be an awesome event. We have great games, yummy food, amazing T-shirts, the cheer squad, COSMO, BYU merchandise, and BYU celebs!

Be sure to check out our Facebook event and mark yourself as 'GOING.' While tickets for food and t-shirts have closed, all are invited to attend the tailgate, so invite your friends to come celebrate with us.

  • Local Arkansan Food
  • Exclusive game day T-shirt
  • Games and activities
  • Cosmo and the BYU Cheer Squad
  • COUGS CARE Service Project
  • BYU merchandise for sale (Proceeds benefit scholarships for local students attending BYU.)

Tailgate Tickets - When you purchased tailgate tickets you received a ticket from Eventbrite via email. We will have a registration desk at the front of the tailgate where you can show your ticket (printed or digital) or the name of the person who purchased it. Either option works. After you are confirmed you will be given a wristband for your food and shirt.

Game Tickets - If you purchased game tickets, you should have received an email to transfer your tickets from the University of Arkansas last Saturday. If not, check your spam folder. If you do not see yours please reach out to us.

Food drive - As part of the Tailgate, we are hosting a food drive with St. James Missionary Baptist Church food pantry of Fayetteville. They are specifically looking for the items below, but bringing anything nonperishable is great. Let's fill this food pantry and show the community what BYU is all about.

Canned meats, Sugar, Cooking oil, Oats, Refried beans in a can, Bouillon cubes, Canned tomatoes, Corn or flour tortillas, Dried beans (pinto, black, navy), Masa, Baking powder, Chicken broth, Ramen noodles, Cup of noodles

Parking - Parking is limited at the park. We encourage you to carpool. The park is only a mile from the stadium, so hopefully you will be able to park once and walk to both game and tailgate. See the map attached.

Sports Nation - Spencer Linton of BYU Sports Nation will be broadcasting on-site from Dogwood Golf course in Bella Vista at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 15th. Go watch him at the golf course and get excited for the game!

BYU vs Arkansas Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament

Extend the fun of this incredible weekend by participating in the BYU vs Arkansas Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament. The BYU and Arkansas Alumni Associations are working together to create this friendly competition and community engagement opportunity. Each foursome will consist of two BYU fans and two Arkansas fans. You can register up to two people at a time. Click on the link below to register and to purchase an alumni polo. Let's cheer on our Cougars and show Arkansas that COUGS CARE by giving back to the community! Serving and donating is easy! Just bring non-perishable items to the tailgate. Donations will benefit the historic St. James Missionary Baptist Church, which runs one of the largest food pantries in the area.
