Maximizing Alumni Tools for Chapter Success

As a Chapter Director of the BYU Alumni Program, you have access to various tools and resources that can help you support your Chapter Chairs in managing their chapters. Here are some ways to make the most out of your alumni tools.

How to Access Other Chapter Information

When accessing your chapter toolbox, you will see information related to your specific chapter. However, you may also want to access information from other chapters. To do this, simply click on the "View Other Chapters" button located at the top right-hand side of the page. This will provide you with a list of all chapters that you can browse through.

Checking Progress Towards True Blue Status

True Blue status is an important recognition for chapters in the BYU Alumni Program. To check the progress of each chapter towards achieving True Blue status. In Alumni Tools, you can access the regional True Blue report, which shows the status of each chapter in your region. This can be a helpful resource for identifying areas where your chapter may need to improve to achieve True Blue status.

Utilizing Chapter Information

With access to your chapters' finances, upcoming events, and contact information, you can guide and assist your Chapter Chairs in financial planning, event coordination, and communication. You can also encourage them to aim for True Blue status by providing guidance on how to increase chapter participation and meet the recognition's requirements.

Encouraging Chapter Chairs to Use Alumni Tools

Encourage your Chapter Chairs to use toolbox.byu.edu to access alumni resources. If they do not have a Net ID, direct them to follow the "Need help logging in?" link to obtain one. If they lack access to chapter tools, ask them to send their Net ID to chapters@byu.edu to request access.
