Oral History Project

Share your Story

As we prepare to celebrate BYU’s 150th year, there’s no better time to reflect on what connects us for good. With hundreds of thousands of alumni around the globe, BYU stories are countless and waiting to be shared – and we need your help to tell them. BYU’s Oral History Project is an opportunity to preserve your experience in your words. Your story will be featured in a special publication that celebrates how Brigham Young University has impacted your unique life and light for the benefit of the world.

PCI Partnership

BYU has partnered with PCI (Publishing Concepts, Inc.) to produce an Oral History Publication for Brigham Young University. PCI is a family-owned business based in Dallas, TX, with over 100 years of experience publishing directories for educational institutions, fraternities, sororities, and military organizations across the country. This project offers an opportunity for us to hear about your personal experiences at BYU and how they have shaped your life since then. While the PCI representative is speaking with you, they will also verify that your contact information on file with BYU is up to date.

Please note that PCI is committed to protecting your information. The names, addresses, and information you provide to PCI for the publication of the BYU Oral History Project will be kept confidential by PCI, except when used for preparing the BYU Oral History Project or as required by law or court order.

It is important to highlight that PCI is facilitating this project at no cost to Brigham Young University or the BYU Alumni Association. During the call, PCI will offer you the opportunity to purchase the Oral History Book, along with other exclusive BYU-branded merchandise related to this project. However, we want to emphasize that your participation is completely voluntary, and there is no obligation to make any purchases, whether or not you share your story. Please be assured that your decision to make a purchase will not affect your story’s inclusion in the book. Your story is a vital part of this meaningful project, and we look forward to hearing it.
